SpiceJet : Cheapest flight tickets



SpiceJet is one of the recent entrants of the domestic Aviation Sector of India. SpiceJet flights started providing low cost carrier services from the year 2005. SpiceJet Airline is conceptualized and backed by Siddhant Sharma and the Kasangra Family. SpiceJet was initially known as Royal Airways which in turn was known as ModiLuft before that. SpiceJet flights are competitively priced with the aim of targeting the passengers of AC class passenger of Indian Railways. SpiceJet stormed into the aviation sector with its 99Rupees deals for a total of 9000 seats. Soon after that Spicejet flight seats were priced at Rs.999. These launched the low cost carrier market into a very low cost pricing frenzy.

Spicejet has used many innovative techniques to cut costs so that they can ofer the reduction to the passengers. SpiceJet flights don't allow any passenger to carry more than 20kgs of baggage. The Spicejet flight planes are decorated with red tails having their trademark centrifugal dotes which increase in size as they go away from the center. The SpiceJet aircrafts also have " spicejet " written on the aircrafts in the color red. The current fleet of Spicejet Airlines includes 11 Boeing 737 800s and it is awaiting 15 more. Spicejet airlines is also expecting the delivery of 5 more Boeing 737 900ERs. The delivery of these aircrafts is believed to increase the frequency of the flights of Spicejet .

Spicejet Airways currently caters to around 15 destinations all across India . In the coming time SpiceJet is expected to increase its market share further and may expand into other sectors too.
